Dr Anita Star is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University. Previously she has worked as an Accredited Practising Dietitian in clinical settings. Anita completed her PhD on eating and weight disorders at James Cook University in 2012. Anita is actively involved in the Dietitians Association of Australia, participates in the DAA eating disorder, obesity and research interest groups. She has developed expertise on obesity and eating disorders with 12 published journal articles, 2 book chapters, and delivery of presentations to researchers and clinicians at a range of national and international conferences.
