Stacy Carter is a NHMRC Career Development Fellow in the Ethics of Prevention and Health Promotion at the University of Sydney. Her current projects include empirical investigations of the ethics of health promotion, the ethics of cancer screening, unassisted smoking cessation, and the relationship between evidence and policymaking; she is also writing a book manuscript on the relationship between theory and practice in qualitative research. She is an Associate Editor for the Australian Journal of Health Promotion, and serves on the Research Methods Board of Sage Publications (UK).
