Maria Szybiak is the Campaign Director for the LiveLighter Campaign which is funded by the WA Health Department and run by the Heart Foundation (WA Division) in conjunction with the Cancer Council of WA. Maria has been instrumental in leading the campaign that is making an impact on the issue of overweight and obesity. Maria has several years of experience in public and private practice physiotherapy and was previously the WA State Manager at the National Stroke Foundation. Before moving to WA, Maria was the Director Community Services in rural health Victoria. She was also part of the G21 health alliance focussing on public health policy and program implantation across rural Victoria including the G21 walkability scale for urban design.
