Anne Magnus is a Senior Research Fellow within Deakin Health Economics. She is currently conducting economic evaluations on a range of trial-based research projects evaluating
(i)fiscal interventions to improve indigenous nutrition and health in remote Australian communities
(ii)improvements to care and mental health outcomes for youth living in out-of-home-care
(iii) new models of care to improve the quality of life of men with prostate cancer and
(iv) a limited number of surgical interventions.
Anne holds qualifications in Economics, Education and Epidemiology and teaches into the schools of Health and Medicine at Deakin University. Anne has been awarded several prizes for recent contributions to knowledge translation and excellence in research arising from the ACE-Prevention project, in which she evaluated interventions to prevent cardiovascular disease and to treat depression in Australia.
