Sarah Garnett is a Senior Research Fellow/Senior Dietitian in the Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetes at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and a conjoint Associate Professor with Sydney Medical School. Sarah has been successful in securing fellowships from the NHMRC (post-doc) and the Cancer Institute NSW (ECR), as well as project funding from a number of different organisations including BUPA, Heart Foundation and Diabetes Australia Research Trust. Sarah has over 50 publications in the area of paediatric obesity and her particular research focus is in young people with insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
