Elroy is a PhD candidate in Human Physiology at the University of Newcastle. He graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) in 2010. His research focuses on diet and exercise programs for Type 2 Diabetes prevention. Elroy has had approximately 5 years of experience working with overweight/obese men, women and children. He has gained significant knowledge in relation to the design and operation of weight loss interventions, as well as the assessment of health, nutrition status and fitness in overweight/obese populations. He has also gained experience in exercise and sports performance in recreational and elite level athletes.
